Welcome to Saalbach

Known for its good snow and few queues, one of Europe’s most famous holiday destinations, the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski area, is easily accessed from Salzburg or Munich. It has always been a favourite Austrian winter sports resort with 200 kilometres of pistes supporting all levels of skiing and snowboarding – including groomed fun-parks. The whole area connects up into a round-trip ‘Ski Circus’. In recent years Saalbach has also reinvented itself as a first-class summer resort offering superb mountain walking and biking.

 

HAUS KÖNIG

This recently refurbished chalet apartment, offering comfortable accommodation for five people, is located in a central, yet quiet, part of Saalbach overlooking the valley’s river. The Post Bus connecting Saalbach with Hinterglemm and Zell am See stops close by, but it is an easy (and flat!) five-minute walk to the village centre. The two-bedroom apartment, situated on the top floor of a traditional wooden, three-storey chalet, sleeps four to five adults. And, because it is the owners’ own holiday residence, the property is very well-equipped.
